Exhaust spitting
I've got a MkII G-Ltd with a aftermarket 5Zigen exhaust, Apexi Induction kit and decat. The problem i have is that my exhaust is spitting out some fluid, doesn't seem like any oil but its black. It just spits out bits at a time. Also the exhaust has gone really black on the inside when you run your ...

Front Speakers without a spacer?
Hi,
I have used the search function on this site to find some front components which do not need a spacer but cannot find any info. I just want to drop a set straight in. Which components do you reccommend?

Re: Nokia 6600 with TOMTOM 5 Sat Nav
I've got TOMTOM 5 on my Nokia 6630 and think its great some people will say the screen is small which it obviously is compared to PDA's but it is fine using it in the car, you can see everything clearly, some of the writing is a bit small but its worth it! Especially when it shows you where the spee...

Re: [Mk2 Turbo] Gearbox change, How to...?
Hi Mark, I was wondering how easy is it to take the subframe off?? Do you need to support the engine aswell if you replace the subframe or is it as simple as unbolting and bolting it back on?

Re: Speedo not working??
Last night I took the dash apart to see if there were any loose cables/connections and there was 1 so put this back but it hasn't made a difference. Today i am going to look at the cables on the sensor to see if they seem ok, is there anyway of checking these cables on the gearbox or shall i just di...

Re: Speedo not working??
Yeah the fuses were one of the first things i checked and they were all fine. I checked all three fuse boxes (engine bay, drivers footwell and front bonnet) are there any fuses specific to the speedo?

Speedo not working??
Hi, I have a rev2 GLtd without a speedo conversion (i.e. still in kph) and my speedo has stopped working. I have read through previous posts on here but still can't find a solution to the problem. Am I right in saying that my speedo is an electrical rather than a mechanical? All the other gauges wor...

[Mk2 NA] Brake Fluid
Hi, At the weekend I changed one of my rear shocks so I had to take out the brake line from the caliper, this reduced my brake fluid level as it was slowly driping into a bottle. I threw this fluid away as there was a bit of dirt in the bottle and when I tried my brakes they were really weak so went...

Loads of people sell them stating that they are "twin turbo's". That replica actually doesn't look too bad but they go for stupid amounts of money.
