I am pretty sure my alternator has failed as the battery is just dying. My question is I have a import rev2 n/a (which the alternator has failed on) but have a rev1 uk spec n/a in my garden, will the rev1 alt fit into my car?

Re: Fitting a replacement alternator

Don't quote me on this I might be wrong. Yes you change it from the bottom. There is one long bolt at the bottom of the alternator which you take out and another one which you can undo from the top of the car which adjusts the tension of the alt as it screws into the alt along a slider to sdjust tig...

Parts for cambelt change?

Im looking to change my cambelt on a UK rev1 n/a. I was wondering if I would be better off getting parts from somewhere like fensport or should i just get these original parts from Toyota? Its just the cambelt and tensioners.

3S-GTE & 3S-GE Cambelt change?

I need to do a cambelt change on my UK rev1 3S-GE engine and was wondering how similar it would be to the 3S-GTE because I am about to read the BGB manual for changing a timing belt. Any help would be appreciated. Is it quite similar as I think, or is it very different??
