Well after much head scratching it turns out it was down to the immobiliser system which looks like it was put in by a blind man. Loom under the dash was hacked to bits and a short in the rear fuse box was probably the final cause. IUmmobiliser system removed and car started first time!!! Sounds a b...

things I have checked:

12V getting to the AM2 fuse
12v getting to the IGN relay
Dash lights dim when key turned to start position

car has been sat for quite a while

I have read and re read the threads on the AM2 fuse and don't have an answer.

Problem: Key turned to on and the fans come on and lights on dash light up. Turn to fire and the AM2 fuse blows.

can someone give me a list of things i should check in order?

nope they are all in properly but its like some of them aren't connecting. Which wires are the ones that power the dials as some of the lights are working?

I was fixing the dials on my mr2 NA (1991) as someone had taken out the wire that powered the backlights. Once this wire was re connected none of the dials now work (rev counter, batt and temp). What have i done? I cant see any problems at teh back and the fuse at the fuse box in the drivers footwel...

Is it possible to change to mk1 hubs whilst retaining the rev3 mk2 brakes so that i can put some interesting alloys on my car?

My car previously had the speedhut dials in and now that they have been removed i have one wire not connected and no dash lighting. Alos, having looked at the loom there is no obvious place for the wire to go. Is it the ground? Please help.

Is there any way to do this on the MR2 without drilling the alloys? Wobble bolts and pcd adapters don't work as the thread for the wheel nuts is on the hub and not the bolt. Any ideas??? I have found an awesome set of wheels for my project but the pcd is wrong.

Looking to test my new car bosy skills by installing a set of woodsport arches, but i need some ridiculously wide rears and matching (but narrower) fronts. Firstly where do i get extra wide wheels from without paying thousands and what is the widest rears i can get away with? Plus, is anyone running...
