MBC fitting

I know this is a popular topic and i have done a search but i'm not really a mechanic and need to be certain before cutting pipes. The pipe from the turbo to the actuator is the small one that runs out of the turbo about three inches long and into a circular thing with tow pipes going into it? Is th...

Yep, know what you mean, been adding to mine ever since. Will be running 15psi very soon, about as much power as i can safely get without extra cooling or a bigger turbo.

Sorry to hear about your car though. Mine was stolen and recovered last year, but not enough damage for it to be a write off fortunately!

Re: Oil all over turbo, help!

Thanks guys, puts my mind at ease somewhat. Mark suggested an oil catch can to stop this happening so might try that. There is no white smoke and it pulls fine all the way through the rev range and has done since i got it 15 months ago and there has always been some oil around. Thanks again.

Oil all over turbo, help!

I noticed that there was an oil leak over the turbo a while ago but didn't look anything serious, had the bay steam cleaned so i could see what was going on. It now appears that there is oil in the pipe from turbo to intercooler as there is oil on the turbo housing and some coming out of the dump va...

Porsche boxter was v surprised!!

I was driving in my local town on a dual carrigeway when i spotted a boxter up ahead really giving it some between the lights. It was a hot day so we both had the top down, and i pulled up behind him at the next set of lights. We had a good half mile to the next set and he was gunning the engine and...

I prefer rev2 looks too. Anyone else? I guess rev2 spoiler just looks more integrated to the car rather than later editions that look stuck on. Having said that my rev 2 spoiler is beginning to bubble #-o
