Re: Rev 5 tubby

Good man for revising the listing, but how had the cars mileage gone backwards? The clocks cant have been replaced as the car has rev5 cluster which are very rare. As for front end damage, probably just a nosecone crunch as it all looks to line up as good as new from the pics so no worries from that...

Re: Rev 5 tubby

So in the past year its been bought by RA motors and sold to this owner, but has lost some miles along the way. Anybody seen the film 'Ferris Beulers day off'? I personally really dislike the black stripe through the middle of the sonic shadow. As for rusty sills, ive seen a few rev4/5's with this p...

Re: HID legality - VOSA not expecting self-levelling & spray?

HIDs should be factory fitted only, and if fitted, with washers and self-levelling. Construction and Use covers the legislation. The sooner MOT stations and plod get the aftermarket Indi-Phillipino-Chinese rubbish off the rosds the better off we will all be. Fed up with getting blinded by chavs dri...

Re: Racelogic traction control

I had this on my rev3 turbo, great system, really gives you the confidence piwering out of corners and junctions, but remember, you go too fast into a corner and slam on the breaks, the laws of physics will take over and no TC will help you out. Tim Bill has it fitted and has fitted a few to ABS and...

Re: Rear lights - options

Those rev6 rear lights were truely awful quality, the units leaked and would get condensation/algae in them, and the moulds were vacuum formed not injection moulded so the fit aint the best on any ive seen :?

Quietes twin is Fujitsbo Legalis then HKS super dragger or the Berk copy, then Dep2 regular, then dep2 pro then Japspeed/ Motoria
There are other twin exits but these are in my experience

What Marf said, this was the main reason, they were cheaper.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best value standalone ECU?

Link is practically plug and play nowadays too, £80 for a loom adapter and good tuners like Ryan.G etc will have the car running in no time. Took Ryan 10 min to wire in my link and get the car running good enough to drive it in to the dyno for mapping, 45 min later and i was driving home with just ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best value standalone ECU?

You know what.. i think im going to have to disagree with the Apexi PFC being a good value budget ECU! It has gone up in price loads since they stopped making them, they use quite dated technology when compared to modern ECUs and lack a lot of features and requires additional tuning interfaces to t...

Re: Removing drivers door window switch panel

Lever it from the narrower top end (nearest to window adjustment), the clip thats always broken from people levering it out is at the window switch end Make sure you wrap the flat end of the screwdriver in something as the leather like surrounding trim is easily marked/torn. You might have to use a ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Twin exhaust to replace an HKS Hi Power single *Pics request*

What about a Dep2 regular? They dont hang down as low as a pro and are quieter. The HKS superdragger is quieter than the Dep2 regular. Dont go japspeed after having a nice HKS single exit, its just wrong, and they sound cack #-o

Re: Cheap little interior mod!

just cheap crystal ones off ebay? They're the ones, but bought second hand, very cheap. One of the front corners is crystal, the other is Rev 4/5, all the rest, including the side repeaters are also crystal. They look ok but the originals generally fit better. I'll leave them as they are for now an...

Thats the idea, but I think your pic doesnt do it justice, when I did this mod it looked very good indeed, the MR2 glowed a subtle green and the fit was bang on
