Window Problem

Post by MarkyMR2 »

Would be sound if anyone can help.
Hadda call the RAC out the other day cause my passenger window wouldnt close.
The RAC guy thought it might have been the motor- but then didnt think it was, the switch on either side didnt work, but he plugged something in and it worked. If anyone know what this problem might be, please post me a message.

Cheers

When you say he plugged something in, any idea what it was? Was it something he had in the van that he then took away again?

I had a similar problem on the drivers side. Sometimes it would work and other times it would stop. The armeture winding in the motor was goosed so I bought a motor from http://www.roguesystems.co.uk and replaced it. Working brill now and only cost me around £60.
