Tubby vs Scuby WRX

Post by prezjamin »

Saw a nice blue scuby WRX racing up behind me on the slip road to the motorway, got up to about 80 and let him overtake. Then though hell why not, so i pulled back out behind him and we let rip, got to 135 before i though xxxx he is a nutter time to back off, he continued to accell must have hit at least 140. Complete nutter, but what a rush. If the road didnt have other traffic on it i might have continued on to see how quick my tubby went but the though of a heafty fine / jail cell along with my senses stopped me going crazy.

Fair point, thinking back on it it was stupid, guess i let the adrenalin go to my head, to be honest i relly just planted my foot and followed him, then backed off when i realised how fast i was actually going. Its surprising how well the tubbies cruise at those sorts of speeds. The road was dead (there was no traffic when we started, as i backed off there was loads ahead) and i had good clear conditions. Even so i shouldnt have and wont be doing it again, i now my tubby goes as quick as it will ever need to.

Hi,

I dont see a problem with a bit of a friendly race. As long as your sure you not endangering anyone else and you drive within your limits then no harm done.

However, dont post that you were doing 140mph or whatever on a public board like this, that is asking for trouble!! you dont know who's watching.

At least say 140 leptons, then you cant really incriminate yourself ;)
