HID kits for H4 - H4 Hi/Lo - Fogs - Lowrise

Post by cantfindausername »

I know there are HID group Buys poppingup everywhere, but thought I would offer something slightly different.

I have inquired about discount on H4, H4 Hi/Lo, H3 for foglights, and H7 for Rev6 Lowrise lights. All the usual temps are available.

The prices are (for 10 kits):
H4, H3, H7 = $200 DELIVERED
H4 True HID Hi/Lo = $275 DELIVERED

** It should be noted that the H4/H3/H7 bulbs are dipped only and not the HID/Xenon combination bulbs **

Items should be sent from a depot closest to the UK to prevent additional taxes duties etc.

I've sent another email asking for details of postage.

A friend of mine will be having a kit fitted this weekend so I will be able to see what there like when they're all up and running.

So... anyone interested?

Ant

Hey Ant,

Are the Hi/Lo H4 kits the actual BiXenon bulbs that provide both high and low beam? I'd be in for those and also a kit to do the fog lights too!

You got it Johnny.

Hi/Lo are Bi-Xenon, the normal H4 are HID Dipped. And I think matching them with the fogs would be ace!! Not seen either of these options in any of the other current GBs. :thumleft:

Well if you can get a decent price for both kits, I'd be in for that. Hell, I'd even pop down and pick them up off ye!

Well with the current exchange rate the prices above are uber cheap! Even compared to other GBs being run.

Just waiting on the postage cost now.

Will update as and when I can

OK, and just had an update... the prices stated... INCLUDE DELIVERY! (have updated original post)

I shall assume for the time being that this will be to one place, i.e. me to distribute them out from here. But I don't think that would cost much at all.

So a damn good price if you ask me!

Will try and get some pics of them fitted to my mates car and get a little review by him.

Very tempted on the hi/lo's!

Just need to hear what they are actually like.

I don't suppose your mate could pop into an MOT garage and get them checked out? Thats the most important thing for me..

Get them checked out for what?

Looking through the other posts that have been made in the other forums, no one has had any queries raised while getting MOT'd.

That's fine then.

Theres another thread in the affiliates section saying they aren't legal due to the MR2's lighting design.

I just don't want to come to MOT time and find they fail.

Technically they're not legal when fitted to any car that was not fitted with them from the factory. Legally you have to have light washer jets if your car is fitted with HID lights.

However, I cant see them failing your car for having lights that are good. All they do is check the alignment and according to other that have fitted them, this is just fine with the MR2 lights.

Ok, I just got this email from my mate who had his fitted last night

my mate with HIDs wrote:
I got my HIDs fitted last night and fook me are they bright!!
They are awesome, I dont have full beam, but who needs it :D

So he didn't get the H4 Hi/Lo's as I thought he was, but I'll be checking these out hopefully tonight so will be able to give my opinion on them soon also.

Judging by his response though... they seen alright

ok, just to confirm that the H4 Hi/Lo's are true HID Hi/Lo's, not a HID/Xenon combination.

Come on people this is a bargain for a kit like this!

yep H4 hi/low is known as bi-xenon, this is the kit you need ideally people, £140 is a very good price!!

I have just purchased a set of H4 bi-xenons (same kit as PeteJ's) for £135 delivered in a different GB, cant wait to recieve these and my Raybrigs.
