Location of fuse box and alarm problems???????

Post by blue2 »

Hi,
2 problems really!
Firstly I bought my mr2 with a clifford alarm and imobiliser. The imobiliser works fine however the alarm is a different story. It has one of those keyrings with 2 buttons on. I presume 1 opens the doors and 1 locks them. This doesnt happen and the alarm defo doesnt work. After looking in the engine bay I located the alarm box and noticed that it has a key hole on it, does anyone know what this is for? Anyway I think it may be a blown fuse thats causing the alarm to fail.
Main problem is that I can't find the fuse box anywhere. I have found a relay box under the bonnet and a small relay box in the engine bay but no sign of a standard fuse box. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!!
Thanks!
Dan
