Power steering not working (urgent)

Post by DAVE-ID »

when i plug the power steering wires (a white plug) into the control box (under the bonnet) it blows a fuse and heats up a few wires. It is the garage but i need it back on friday and their auto electrician can't look till tuesday. any help appreciated.

don't want to sound like I'm taking the mick but are you puting it together the right way around?

It sounds like the positive and negative terminals are the wrong way round, or you're getting an awful lot of power through there!!

Sorry I can't be more help, good luck!
