IMOC shoot out day -- Update

Post by Hedgehog Dodger »

Update.

13:30 - Thursday 24th Feb

I have spoken to Elvington and they advised that its fully booked from April to September. If we were to go in September it would cost for 30 cars about £50.

It costs between 1000 - 1500 depending on what events you want to do, and I think it will be more for a track and drag so more towards the 1500 mark. I am not sure what that includes as Chris the chap I needed to speak to wasn't there.

Anyone still interested? I was really hopeing to get one in before TOTB, but that doesnt look possible! Unless people are willing to take a day off work to attend.

Whats everyones opinions?

Dan

Yeah I'd be interested in this, would be a good laugh, and something different to a general meet.

I'd do it if my car is ready :D
but can you make it handling not just quarter miles...i.e. the events totb does.

A TOTB for MR2's ??

Would take some organising !... elvington is immediately appealing. :D I'm sure the costs for rent for the day and setting up equipment will also be an eye opener !

I'm part of the committee team at MR2-ROC so could organise something our end if you want a MKIII contingent there.

I'd be interested definitely :D

If numbers turn out to be low we could try and arrange a bit of a toyota meet, invite the supra and celica boys along as well?

Sounds like a great Idea Dan.
You could also involve the other MR2 Clubs.

I disagree with the above two posts ...... Elvington is accessible for those over the border too.
