NEW THREAD Carbon fibre Border Wings

Post by V8Killer »

If you are interested in a pair of border wings in carbon fibre, then post here.

Genuine people only please.

These are likely to cost in the region of £400 + the cost of the wings divided by the number of people purchasing and we need 10 people minimum. Whatever the price of this comes to, lets say £450 (£400 for the wing and £50 each for the original), then the final cost for purchases after the group buy will still be £450, so people thinking they'll get it cheaper after we have a mould, think again! That extra £50 will go towards IMOC for events.

I think this is pretty fair.

As I said in the other thread, I'd be painting them so Carbon Fibre is bad economy for me, fibreglass for £200ish and I'm in :)

Currently fibreglass isn't an option...this is pure carbon fibre only!

same here so thats 5 people in total

V8Killer - do you think we could organise this. If required im willing to buy 2 pairs and sell the extra pair on.. Do you think you could get some quotes on importing 1 pair from japan and a cost for moulding and creating 5 or 6 or more pairs for us all.

I could do with these as there the only thing im waiting for before i can put my whole front end back together again.

I need them even more after someone drove into me and my wing is now dented and just starting to rust!

Let me know as otherwise soon I'll have to swap the wing for something far less cool :(
