hi
the kit is a TRD2000GT(toyota racing development)copy.they cost on average £1200-£1500 depending on where u get them from.Mine is from the states and most of the panels beside's just the normal fibreglass sheets used,it as also got fibreglass weave sheets(looks like carbonfibre but is f/glass).hopefully this will give it more strength so as not to disform at a later date.
if u get an original i think the prices start at about £3500 plus.

And if u cannot fit it yourself it will prob cost £3000-£5000 to get it done as there is alot of work involved.

HTH

sie
PS there are a few imoc'ers with this type of car.if u do a search for TRD u will prob find a pic of one finished.

TRD kit fitting video's(hopefully now showing?)

Post by nuttasie »

thanks for the enthusiasm all.
have been studying the front bumper fitment, and it is looking like i will have to cut from the wing were it bends to create sides all the way round to the front so it will allow me to alter the height of the front bumper being as it is lower.
as when i lift the bumper to try and match the height of the bonnet it also lifts the wings higher and they are already to high.

I am also toying with the idea of cutting and fitting a border bumper just to be a little bit different :-k :-k .also cuz it will go well with my border bonnet :D :D .(yes harry i have manged to get hold of one"cool").

actually i think it used to belong to shaf,I need to fit it really just incase it does not fit as good as std.
would be a bit annoying prepping with original bonnet then when fit border nothing lines up ](*,) ](*,) #-o #-o .
most of what i have just said"written" will be in future vids but being as working outside have to rely on the british weather   .

ok peeps here's some pics with the rogue and the trd side by side.just wondering on peeps opinions. must admit at moment i do not know which one i favor? #-o #-o .obviously u have got to imagine the rogue in it's widened guise as it looks a bit strange at mo.

The Rogue bumper would definitely be the better looking of the 2 and would make your car unique! Go for it!
