Speedo - electric signal or manual cable?

Post by mr2stu »

Over the last couple of weeks my speedo has started to play up. It started reading double the speed I was travelling and now it reads 0 all the time. I have a 1996 UK non turbo, does anyone know if it uses an electic signal or a manual cable from the gearbox?

Cheers,

Stu
