Diagnostic software

Post by hobbes »

Does anyone know if you can get (reasonably cheap) diagnostic software for the MR2? Mine's a Mk2 Turbot, but I'm interested whether or not you can get it for any models.

I remember from my GTI-r days that Nissan used a system called Consult, but you could also get aftermarket software called Conzult which once on your laptop would let you see what all the sensors etc are reading. If you were really brave/clever/stupid, you could even alter your timing/fueling to see if gave you more oomph - but only as long as the laptop was connected.

The ol' paperclip diagnosis is fine for when something's broke - but it doesn't tell you when all's not quite as it should be.
