Supra MkIV wheels on MR2 SW20?

Is this possible? I'm running 16" wheels at the moment but was forced to kerb them (badly) having been cut up coming on to the M4 last week

I've found some 16" supra wheels that should take my tyres (205s and 225s) and they look just like the stock 14" MR2 wheels, but will they be too wide? The fronts are 8" wide and the rears are 9". I assume the PCD measurements are the same but what about the offsets?

the rears fit but the fronts don't without spacers



to make the fronts fit you need longer studs plus 10mm spacers, which i will eventually be doing but until then i'm running 20mm spacers.

and you won't fit 205s on, they're too thin for the rim, the thinnest tyre is 215. i run 215 and 245, (used to be 225 fronts but they rubbed too much), 215 with spacers don't rub at all.

Thanks for that info screech...very helpful - especially the pic

I'm going to see if I can get my current rims repaired because I love the look of them...if not I'll opt for the Supra rims methinks
