REV 5 Turbo, Forged 460BHP Comos Blue SOLD

Post by 2barGee »

So………I've just found out I'll be having another child at the back end of this year which means I really cannot justify having 3 cars anymore. Which is the ONLY reason I'm selling this car. It's drives perfectly, no strange noises knocks or bangs, starts first time every time and idles perfectly. Just get in and enjoy.

The car was built from the ground up by Simon at YVS last year to get it to it's current and reliable spec. This car wants for NOTHING. It has had the best parts money can buy, and this set up works so so well. It's had well over 20k spent on it!

It drives off boost just like a stock car but then get it above 4k and it is like nothing else I've ever driven its savage!

On the dyno it kicked out a nice 460BHP at 1.7-1.8 bar, so as you can imagine it's very very quick.
With a full tank of fuel and full interior she weights in a 1252kg, so the power to weight on this car is 367bhp per ton!

Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles or less since I've owned the car and by the previous owner who had the engine built, the last change was done Jan 2019. The car has been running this set up for just over a year and has been totally reliable. The only time it's let me down is when a 9 month old fuel pressure regulator died. It has since been replaced with a different make as I found out it was a common issue with the AEM FPR! At the same time a new alternator and belt was fitted as the other one was looking tired.

The T-bar doesn't leak and comes with some posh stow away alcantara and leather bags. The body work is in good condition but don't expect a show car as it's 20 years old, it's washed weekly even if it's not driven using very good products.

Also included in the sale will be a laptop that runs the motec software so you can log and change boost levels etc. For example 1.4-1.5 bar gives you 405bhp and it literally take 30 seconds to change the boost settings, I can give the prospective buyer a quick tutorial.

£9,500 is cheap for this... Good luck with the sale.

I would have bought this myself if I hadn't just dropped £5,000 into my own!

The car appears not to be a genuine turbo can you confirm this, what is the cars true mileage as it now reads less than half of what it did a few years ago and is the car fitted with a cat as it would need it for its next MOT and i dont know any inspectors in my area who would pass it without one

Thanks for the kind words people. Cheers Shane, looking forward to plenty of sleepless nights AGAIN

To answer a few questions.

It's a UK car.

There was a problem with the speedo not working correctly when the last owner had the car, so the clocks were changed to try and solve the problem which is why the mileage is different when you look at the MOT checker. The actual problem for the speedo going crazy was the diff cog in the gearbox. So a new gearbox was sourced and the problem went away. Expensive fix or what!

So the gearbox is mint and is also filled with MT90 gearbox oil.

The exhaust does not have a cat.

Thanks Dan

Because within the last 4 weeks I've spent that amount on mine trying to get it back to the level its previously been at. The last owner didn't care for it at all.

Anyway lets not hijack this thread because this car deserves all the attention it can get, not this petty conversation.
