Some Pop-up Light questions

Hello All,

I have bagged my self a nice MK2 Import, and I had a small question in regards to the pop up lights.

So I when the side lights are on, and i flash someone to pass, the pop-up lights pop up, they do flash, but they stay up. They dont pop back down. Unless i switch off the lights entirely.

is it supposed to be like this?

I used to have a MX5 MK1, and on those, the lights went back down after flashing, regardless if side lights were on or not.

anyone could shed a light on this?

Yes, if you have the side lights already on the headlights will stay on.

That's normal as far as I can remember. I never flash anyone with the MR2 now lol.

yep entirely normal. You can wire in a switch box to allow you the choice to have the lights go back down again, cant remember where that guide is though..

ohhh daaamn, Im much nicer guy when i drive the MR2, I give people way just to get the chance to flash up the pop ups!

That sounds like a very easy fix, which I shall be doing this weekend.
