Recommended extended wheel studs

Post by VGB »

Can anyone recommend some extended wheel studs? I'm after ones which will be around the 52mm not 63mm length. After lots of Google searches it seems lots need the splines grinding back. So experience of a decent fit would be appreciated.

I've read on here that the fensport ones are just generic ones which are the same as ones off eBay only at a higher price. Hence I'm reluctant to get those. I did find some on eBay that were 51mm which would be fine. Just dubious about quality.

the ones i bought off Fensport are good quality comparing them to ones i got of ebay i threw the ebay ones in the bin as they fell apart as i was drawing them through with an appropriate nut.

no doubt there are decent quality sellers on ebay but Fensport are not about to sell rubbish i would have thought, as they have a public rep to uphold, when you see the cars they build, quality is very apparent.

having had more disputes than i care to mention buying supposed high quality products off ebay only to receive utter rubbish, and sometimes potentially dangerous, as in the above mentioned studs.

Having used the Fensport studs then taken them out to go back to std studs they are still ok and would be happy to use them again.

But its up to you. i know who i have more faith in buying from, you get what you pay for in this world, if its cheap its cheap for a reason, its he same with the plethora of cheap stuff on ebay, my Samsung inductive charger left it for 20 minutes, funny smell, bang, burnt out!!! but it was cheap!!! ha ha

Just my 2p worth :-)

Thanks for the details. Did you get them for the front or rear out of curiosity?
