[Mk2] [Generic] Silicone hose

Post by blogsy »

I'm trying to get some of this black silicone hose, that i keep seeing on cars. It has a bit of a ribbed look to it. I think craig had it on his anyone know what i mean.

I wasn't sure if you could bend these to any angle you wanted.

That's just standard black silicone hose... the ribbed effect is more often seen on cheaper hoses. Universal ones come straight or in standard angles (30,45,60,90,135) and aren't as flexible as the one I posted. Alternatively there are bespoke ones made for specific uses, and packs do exist for some MR2s.

Viper Performance is still a decent supplier of any silicone hose.

Do you happen to know the hose diameters of the cb20 turbo inlet and outlet. I'm changing over from the st205 cooler to the bigger one like androo7 had on his. It has 89mm air in ond out. I'm going to run it on the standard cb20 turbo till, i can afforded a gtx3071. would be nice to know that i can get all the correct reducers and hard pipe before i leave the computer :)
