[Mk2] [Turbo] ecu powered with ignition off

Post by simpson_eh »

HI all

been having problems with the second fuel pump melting fuses so just replaced it with a new bosch 044,

now the car starts and drives fine but i just noticed the hand controller of my apexi fc stays on with keys out of the ignition draining battery

also noticed that when i used to turn the key the pumps used to prime before starting the car now they prime after i switch engine off ?

i guessing some melted wires somewhere but car runs fine, any ideas where to look first

many thanks

Tony
If you see an MR2 with a raised engine cover, the bottom line is it's probably faster than your car.

Well it works properly now so fingers crossed, it was a black and yellow wire fused to a white and red lol my own fault to :(
