1993 Genuine Rev 3 Turbo - Yellow Tbar

Post by auzzam »

1993 2.0 GT Genuine Revision 3 Turbo T Bar

After 2 years of ownership, it is time to let go of my MR2 as I’ve just recently purchased another car (Toyota Supra). The car has been serviced yearly and just has had the full cambelt kit replaced. Has partial history including every invoice during my ownership, is HPI clear and has a long MOT.
This is the top GT version which includes full leathers, traction control, steering fogs etc and the clocks read 148,085 which is a mix of KM and Miles.

The spec list is as follows:

Exterior

• TBar with original roof covers
• Genuine Toyota Revision 5 Spoiler*
• Quad Tailight Mod
• 17” Japan Racing Alloys with Bridgestone and Yokohoma Tyres*
• Crystal Headlights with Osram Nightbreakers
• Crystal Sidelights
• Parking Sensors
• Sleepy Eye Kit
• Electric Folding Mirrors

Interior

• Standard Leather seats
• Speedo converted to MPH
• Fli 6x9 speakers

Mechanical

• Cusco Strut Braces (front and rear)
• Decat pipe
• Aftermarket Side Mount Intercooler
• Aftermarket Radiator & Fans
• Japspeed style exhaust
• Turbosmart Blow off Valve
• Apexi Rev 3 Induction Kit
• Greddy Profec OLED electronic boost controller*
• New alternator and Fan belt
• New HT Leads
• New Distributor cap
• New Rotor Arm
• AC Delete
• New Oil and Fuel Filter
• New Ignition Coil
• Brand new brakes and pads installed a year ago
• LSD Gearbox recently filled with Redline MT90 gearbox oil
• Toad Alarm & Immobiliser

In the interest of being as transparent as possible there are a few niggles.

These are:
• Handbrake needs adjusting/fixing
• There is a typical synchro issue on the gearbox, which is not uncommon for these cars. I’ve driven it like this during my ownership and it was there when I purchased the car.
• On an extremely hot day in traffic, I have noticed the temperature needle can creep one or two notches
