MR2OC with IMOC and friends has a stand for up to 25 cars for this show.
I have around 6 places left on a first to confirm basis. Entry is free to those on the stand who can commit from 9.30-5pm. Prizes for various categories.

We have an MR2OC banner. Happy to put up an IMOC one as well. Most of us are members of both clubs.

Re: Japanese Auto Fest - Sunday 12th June - Museum of Power, Maldon, Essex
I have got a little bit of flexibility from the organisers so 1 place left on the show stand. Be quick!
Re: Japanese Auto Fest - Sunday 12th June - Museum of Power, Maldon, Essex
Believe it or not this will be my first show with any mr2 group. I hope nobody will mind if I wander off for most of the day taking photos?
Welcome to join and see the master at work
Fingers crossed for good weather, it's been a bit patchy so far.

Re: Japanese Auto Fest - Sunday 12th June - Museum of Power, Maldon, Essex
I've only done a couple of small stand 'shows' as such. I think Scott is the master at this for sure. Wonder if he'll get much competition.
Feel free to wander around looking/taking photos of the other cars. Be great to see some good pictures of the cars from the photography 'master'. Just leave yours on the stand for people to look at.
It's the UK! Weather is always unpredictable!

From the show organisers:
"As promised, here is a list of helpful information;
Gates open to the event for setup and early arrival for overnight camping at midday on Saturday.
Please ensure if camping that you site your tent sensibly, dont invade your neighbouring stands, and make sure your tent is down by 8am on Sunday, as its a big safety problem driving through occupied tents.
Please drive sensibly on site, anyone behaving in a dangerous manner will be told to leave. No exceptions, there will be children on site, so its important.
You are welcome to bring BBQs, just please ensure they are off the grass and extinguished properly once youve finished. There are plenty of places to buy food during the show on Sunday, and plenty of places offsite for supplies, Ill put together a list and add to this page, tomorrow.
We do request, no glass or bonfires on the field, its for everyones safety.
Gates open on Sunday at 7.30am, please ensure all exhibiting cars are on stands or show field by 9.15am. Our marshals will be on hand to direct you, please assist them, as we anticipate a busy day.
We ask that no cars are to be moved off the show field, unless in an emergency, before 4.30pm.
There is a large Tesco, literally 5 minutes from the venue, with Petrol Station too; here: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Tes ... 4Q_BIIcDAK
Also there is a small Asda, and a Morrisons superstore, again with Petrol Station, about 10 minutes away.
There are plenty of places to eat in Maldon on Saturday night too, should you fancy it, Ill get together a list of some of our favourites, and post it tomorrow.
We will be organising a short cruise out and about around the town in the afternoon/evening to further publicise the event to the public, if interested, let me know, either in advance, or find me on site Saturday.
Above all, please have fun!"
So please either meet us at 7.30am as advised previously or at the venue by 9.15am at the latest. Maybe aim for 9am if not joining us for breakfast.

Publicity has ramped up a bit from the organisers so let's hope for good weather and a great day.

Plenty of bikes too, in fact over a 100 so far, around 200 cars already registered, likely to be more on the day, its going to be one busy show!
Keep spreading the word, we have coverage on local radio and press this week, bring your friends, its about having fun and raising money for charity! None of the people responsible for this event are making anything from it, its about raising money to keep the museum running and also to make some much needed cash for Farleigh Hospice. These causes are where public admission money goes to, so please make sure you tell your friends and lets make this a hugely busy day!"
