Anyone else fancy doing this? Seems like a good one for first TD of the year. :thumleft:

Not my favourite track but would definitely be up for it if we had a few other members going.

I'm looking into this track too, my cousin also wants to bring his supra. Although I want to get my car sound tested before splashing out for the fee and trackday insurance.

Last thing I'd want is being told im too loud! go home :(

We're going santapod on the 19th of this month, and bedford autodrome is next on the list

I have a proper sound meeting and do go to London quite regularly if that helps.

Is yours a fairly std rev 3 turbo? Which exhaust do you have?

Also if you have an iPhone the mic in those are fairly accurate for a decent ballpark db figure. Plenty of apps on the store to measure :thumleft:

Thanks for the replies guys. Mine is a slightly tuned rev 3, de cat, apexi induction, upgraded intercooler, twin 4.5" exhaust (looks like japspeed but isnt branded) and its running at 1.2 bar.

I'll have a go with the apps first, just need to find somewhere open where the car's sound wont bounce of the walls :)

any idea on how to test the drive by sound? (its what im worried it will fail on)

I'm attending this one so you won't be the only MR2 haha

I phoned today to get a track day insurance quote and I was told if I wasn't an existing customer I had to be over 30 years old??? Thought this was a bit odd.

Hi,
Whilst our track scheme is open to non Flux clients there are a few more restrictions if you don;t have an existing policy with us. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take another look at it for you when I'm back in the office tomorrow to see if there is anything I can do.
Regards,
Dan.

Forgot to update this, but was good fun even though the weather was terrible in the morning. Although it was fun finding the grip limits in the wet without much consequence.

Did manage to spin twice, but to be fair so did lots of other people!

Cool, I'm always up for it :)

Off to Donington Circuit on Friday this week, with coaching from an awesome chap Jake Hill. Need to acquire more skill!

Not the only one mate! I've been thinking about doing something similar with instruction. How much does it cost for training like that?
