Not a Caterham but did a Westfield drift day at Silverstone and that's close enough

Epic fun - really easy to get the back end out and plenty of feedback from the car. I was trying to turn with the steering wheel (no PAS) for ages until I realised that using the throttle to steer is a lot less knackering

When's your experience?

I've not booked it yet. Will likely wait for warmer months.

When I was at Silverstone doing the tour I saw a couple of guys throwing some Caterhams around a hell of a lot better than I will! Looked great fun though.

It'll be my first "experience" day so quite looking forward to it!

The missus got me a drift day in Feb for my Xmas present.

Apparently started with a mx5 and hopefully moving on up to something a bit beefier.

Really looking forward to it.

I did a Ferrari experience last year and was very disappointed with it. Didn't get to go fast and the car was so restricted by the co pilot that it wasn't worth doing.

Yeah I was gifted a Ferrari experience and opted to exchange it for an STI experience due to everybody saying the same thing about restrictions etc. ruining the fun. The Scooby definitely wasn't restricted though and was brilliant - think I went and bought one within a month of the experience

I reckon you'll both enjoy the drifting though - amazing how chuckable the cars are and how quickly you can progress through the day :thumleft:
