Club Committee - Who's Who?

Club Chairman

As Chairman, my responsibilities are:
- To liaise directly with the Directors on Committee matters
- To communicate the business of the Directors to the Committee, Moderators and Members as and when appropriate
- To set direction for The Club
- To maintain and develop links with the administrators of other similar car clubs, as appropriate
- Co-ordinate the work of the rest of the Committee
- Work on wider projects to benefit members
- Hold the casting vote in the situation of tied voting within any proceedings that require a casting vote

Vice Chair

Lauren's duties include:
- To liaise directly with the Directors on Committee matters
- Assume responsibility in the absence of the Chairman. This includes a casting vote in the absence of The Chairman.
- Be foremost in constitutional matters and to work with the Chairman on such matters
- Assist the Chairman on club developmental matter as well as work with relations to other clubs
- Work with other Committee members on club structural matters

Treasurer

Sy is responsible for:
- Oversee the day to day running of the club financial accounts
- Keep track on club finances and club bank/PayPal balances and advise the Committee/Directors accordingly
- Organise and manage budgets in co-ordination with and as agreed by the Committee and/or the Directors
- Assist the Directors in compiling the annual accounts and tax return
- Maintain a shared database of Company Assets (gazebos, banners and other property) and their location, organising replacement/repair as necessary

Affiliate Admin

Peter is responsible for:
- Responsible for running and developing the Affiliate scheme
- Liaise with all Affiliates both potential and existing on all matters regarding commercial advertising on the IMOC forum
- Responsible for obtaining fees from such Affiliates
- Responsible for ensuring Affiliates sign the IMOC Affiliation Agreement
- Be a point of liaison for them on all matters regarding their Affiliate status
- Responsible for setting price points for Affiliates, ensuring Affiliate Companies are a registered company
- Responsible for activating and de-activating Affiliate accounts
- Responsible for Affiliate rules and codes of conduct, as well enforcing them
- With regard to the Affiliate having any grievance, the Affiliate is to use their first point of contact which will be the Affiliate Admin


Head Mod Admin

Ollie has the wonderful task of:
- Responsible for moderation on the forum
- Oversee the content of the forums on a regular basis, making recommendations to the Moderators for action.
- Responsible for the moderation activities and conduct of the Moderators
- Responsible for Members' adherence to the forum 'Netiquette' guidelines and instigating, implementing and communicating changes where necessary and as agreed by the Committee
- Responsible for Members' adherence to the conditions set out in the IMOC Legal Notice
- Be first point of contact for the Moderation team if their decisions are not clear
- Flag up and report on potentially serious situations to the Committee and/or Directors
- Organise and announce the recruitment of new Moderators as and when necessary

Membership Admin

This position is vital to the future of IMOC as i see it. Chris is responsible for sending out the stickers for Premium membership and also resolving any membership issues that get thrown our way.
Chris is tasked with:
- Responsible for all matters concerning club membership
- Promote the club in order to secure members
- Organise club discount schemes, including seeking out and organising new discounts and publicising them on the forum

Events Admin

I will continue in this role, supported by the current crop of IMOC Organisers.
As Events admin, i am responsible for:
- Co-ordinate club events
- Take lead responsibility for major club events including trackdays and JAE
- Provide logistical support where possible to Event Organisers
- Identify, approach and recruit potential Event Organisers to ensure national coverage
- In co-ordination with the Treasurer, organise and co-ordinate transportation of club property (gazebos etc.) to large events (e.g. JAE)
- In co-ordination with the Committee (in particular the Treasurer), set and adhere to budgets for official IMOC events
- Organise and promote IMOC merchandise

stealing money

As I have just been made redundant from the SSI steel works how do I get the job of treasurer then steal all of the money, preferably getting away with it by blaming another member?

Sorry to hear your news. The potential knock on effect up here is huge. I've received a huge upsurge in CVs being sent to me over the last few weeks.

Hope you get sorted soon.

It is probably the toughest position to fill, without you Scott a few of these events probably wouldn't involve Imoc at all 8-[
