Personalising my SW20 Spider

Post by Spidey »

It started life as this

And after Greddy sides, Border front, Border hood, colour coding side mouldings, removing JDM orange repeaters, 17" rims, leather/alacantra interior, 3rd gen turbo swap, she now looks like this ...

Thanks, lads

Just need a Toms duckbill spoiler, Tom's rear, new rims, respray and a 2.3 stroker

EDIT - just need Lotto win - and then a Toms duckbill spoiler, Tom's rear, new rims, respray and a 2.3 stroker

Meh, you can never have enough. :eye:
Wish I'd bought the NVI turbo one now. Yours looks very nice btw. :thumleft:

I think I'd do Ganador mirrors as well if I had one.

Personally I would have fixed those bonnet/headlight lines before modding and swapping.

But that's just me! :thumleft:

Its also got a scratch on the front bumper, rust on boot-lid and other not so great paintwork.

No cash to get it done but yeah, its on my to-do list :(

Always loved the Spyder and if I saw one come up now I'd go for it and stick my engine in it. Looks a tidy example!

I'm not a fan of the Border bumper on MR2's, looks quite long and makes the front look a bit gawky in my eyes. But all the stuff you've done is easily reversible.
Standard front bumper with the Holymr2 front splitter would blend perfectly with the Greddy sides, be perfect in my eyes :thumleft:

The Spider looks small and the front looks pointy and narrow. So, I wasn't particularly after the Border front. What i wanted was a bit more width.

The Holy Lip would help a bit but don't think it would give me the width i was after.

What i would like is a Toms front. Stock, factory look but bit wider and bit lower :) Before i went for the Border front, i had bought a genuine Toms front and the fit was horrendous !!

And i will be after a Toms rear anyway, as i don't want to put spats on it.

Absolutely stunning. A true rare beauty.

Where did you get the greddy skirts from?
