paypal & premium membership renewal?

paypal has rejected my membership renewal because i fund paypal direct from my bank account rather than a debit / credit card, is this right? ive changed my options for the subscription so hopefully it should work now, just ive never had this before

Hmm, that shouldn't make any difference - if you've not validated your PayPal account ( they like to take some card details ) then PayPal may be blocking you making any further payment ?

Subscriptions remember what funding source they were set up with and stick to it - so if you started your subscription paying with a card and then changed to bank funding as your primary source, the subscription will have stayed on the card it was set up with.

Also if your 'back-up' credit card expires pay-pal can throw a hissy fit.

my paypal account is fine, use it all the time, wondered if it was something from this end, due to try again on the 23rd now
