Group Buy - Gauging Interest - Chargecooler Radiator Brackets - UPDATED

Post by bluesmoke »

**THIS FIRST POST WILL BE UPDATED WITH WHO HAS PAID AS SOON AS THEY INFORM ME - PLEASE PAY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO ED CAN MAKE THE BRACKETS!**

As per this topic:

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=142948

Ed at Fusion Motorsport has agreed to make up some quality brackets like these:

at a price of £40 a pair if we can get at elast 5 interested parties.

Marf has very kindly agreed to have his car used for measurements before production goes ahead.

Personally, I think these looks awesome, and are far better than anything I could produce myself, so I really want a pair of these. If anybody else is up for it then put your name below and we'll see what how much interest there is.

OK Chaps, as mentioned in the main thread about this; I am utterly skint.

I have £6k going out in January for a new kitchen and windows which I am still saving towards and as such every spare penny is sacred.

I am happy to spend my Sunday over at Fusion having my car taken to pieces to allow the brackets to be copied for your collective benefit, but I would very much appreciate a donation for fuel costs.

Its an 80 mile round trip from me to Fusion, as such I'd like to ask for £20 to cover it.

I don't see that as unreasonable, split 5 ways thats £4 each.

Please take pity on this poor soul and help a brother out! :)

That's fine by me Marf, as they couldn't be made without you. We just need a 5th person... Toxo where are you? :)

Can everybody let me know when they'd be able to pay? I personally get paid Friday and would like a set ASAP, but obviously that may not be the case for everyone else?

EDIT: Obviously payment will go direct from yourselves to Fusion, and I won't have anything to do with that, just to be clear.

When everybody lets me know what's what, I will find out how Fusion want us to pay.

We can leave it open a bit longer, sure. I don't get paid until Friday anyway. I don't know if they will require us all to pay before making them or what, but I'll find out.

Right. I've spoken at length to Ed at Fusion.

The brackets are only viable in batches of 5. Therefore the 5 of us already listed on here will get a set of brackets fine. But if anybody else wants a set, then it will require another 5 orders.

I am of course, happy to facilitate this by keeping this thread running until such time.

Ed is happy to take payment via debit/credit card, paypal, bank transfer etc. To pay, contact him directly via email or phone. Fusion's website is http://www.fusion-motorsport.co.uk/ and their email address is [email protected]

Telephone numbers are:
020 8816 8586
07799 627087

I have managed to negotiate the price of £40 to include delivery. Payment via Paypal will total £41.56 and the address is [email protected]

Any questions, feel free to ask and I will do my best to find out for you. If people can let me know when they have paid I will start updating the thread to show this.

Cheers guys!

Sam,

Since we're paying Ed directly for the brackets, what's the best way to give you the petrol money?

Cheers, Jon
