Subscription payments

Post by JohnnyC »

According to the bit near the top regarding my membership, it says:

Welcome JohnnyC, your current subcriptions:
Premium Members [Expires at Sat Nov 07, 2009 1:00 am]

Why then, today, I've had £5 taken from my PayPal ?

In that case, the software is crap, as it shouldn't allow you to setup a new subscription when there is already an existing one.

phpBB really is a pile of xxxx though, god knows why IMOC use it... there are much better options available.

Sub cancelled and refund issued, there are a few of these little buggers left floating around, we're slowly getting rid as they pop up.

Usually having 2 subscriptions results in the membership being deactivated so it's a pretty good flag to tell us summat's gone wrong but I do agree Monkeyra the software and interface between IMOC & PayPal is a big heap of steaming elephant poo. I don't know what system/forum software we'll be going to next year but I fully expect subscription issues that we'll have to sort out.

Another glitch in the system is that if a sub has been cancelled, then renewed at a later date, it leaves a record that come the same time next year it might (or might not) cancel the membership. ](*,)

 A fiver doesn't stretch far these days, you'd only be able to get me as the strippers at your party for that

Thought I'd add to my own thread of ongoing membership problems.

Just noticed today that I am no longer a 'Premium Member' (found out by trying to add an item for sale).

Checked my records, and I coughed up £7.50, via PayPal, on the 8th November 2010.

Can someone fix this please?
