Events Calender

Not sure if its been mentioned before, but before the revamp of the site the events section used to have a calender which was particularly useful.
Would help to avoid conflicting events and make it easier for people to see what was happening on a particular day rather then opening the thread to find out dates etc.

yeah it has been mentioned a few times before but is well worth reminding me of....I am actually in the middle of designing a events system that will intergrate the events forums, a calendar and the garage mod.

Basic idea is a calendar will exist where you can create an event.

In the garage section or the calendar you will be able to select an event that you intend to be at...then when people view either you garage profile or calendar it will list who is going or what event you are going to..Also creation of event will create a thread in the forum...as people sign up the first post in that topic will change to show who is going...so you will still be able to post Q's or whatever in the thread but who is going will be dynamic.

So that is the basic plan....comments? ideas?

Was just thinking of a straight forward calender.
