.....other cars flying past......then I see three cars one behind the other caning it down the outer lane gotta be 80mph.....all about 4 feet from one anothers bumpers... 
in the rain....heavy spray.....its madness i tells ya...if the one at the front had to do an emergency stop....well.....you can imagine......then I saw a near miss with the car in front.
....almost exact copy of my recent accident....I was driving well back of the car ahead......this ford escort van pulled out of a layby onto the dual carriageway making the other car swerve into the outer lane.......when I passed the van in the outer lane and quickly glanced across I noticed he was looking down at something in the passenger area.......obviously oblivious to the world outside of his van cabin....
