Rays/Volk Duralum wheel nuts ---> NOW CLOSED

Post by nightSpirit »

Image

This isn't going through the business, purely using my sources to get some for anyone interested while I'm ordering...

They retail at £97 most places or approx £85 on Ebay (from HongKong).

The sets work out at £71 shipped to your door and we currently have 7 orders on the Starlet site, anyone here want to join in the fun?

For anyone who doesn't know, these nuts are ultra lightweight and ultra strong machined items. They weigh nothing, sat in the palm of your hand you can barely feel they're there. Complete set of 20 for 4/5 stud cars with full set of 7 sided hex bolt lockers and key.

In blue, black or red...please add your name and colour you require

You mean Warren Road  Probably leads into Guildford Lane...

Do you go that way to Dorking? Suppose it makes sense but is a b1tch of a road, I did it once and OMG how many potholes all over the road ](*,) [-X [-(

Yeh that's the first time I've had it on the road, its always garaged over night. I was out 'til about 01.00 Wed night in it so thought I'd just leave it outside lol

Anyway, back on topic :thumleft:

Yeh let me know when your nuts arrive

I think you're right about black, blue would probably spoil the colour co-ordination

Would these fits the Advans I'm getting from hutch ? (http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=69935)
One site I looked at listed two bolt lengths (http://www.nengun.com/rays-engineering/racing-dura-nuts), which are these ?

Price looks good from doing a couple of quick looks via google so would be interested if these will fit.

What are these like for getting on and off? I remember that people have had problems with lightweight wheel nuts siezing on due to the different metals.

Is this still a problem that I'll have to watch out for (i.e. keep the threads coated with anti-sieze spray and undo/re-tighten them every few months)?

Never had a problem with mine on the 2 and that would sit for months at a time. THey're damn hard too, you could (if you wanted to) stand on a ratchet with one of these and do it no harm at all :)

Can everyone please state the car they are for aswell? I know all mr2, but just to make sure.

I'm not sure mate to be honest, they are a slim fitment so fit most rims (I have them on TE37s and Enkei RP-01's) if anyone else here knows? Andy Jones on here, the daddy of all things wheel and tyre may be able to advise you!

I think you can be fairly sure they'd fit, I was amazed my stock nuts fitted to my Works in the end, I think its a fairly standard size... I've held one in my hand too and they're defo not bigger then stock so not sure if that helps Paul?

You can count me in on the fun aswell guys, Pref like a black set for my Enkei RS Evolutions.

Edit; are there different sizes for these sets. I test fitted one of my Enkei with my standard nuts and they went on fine... So i will need the same kind of length nut.

Righty ho everyone...

the group buy is now coming to a close!

Can you all please send the total of £71 via Paypal to: [email protected].

Make sure you put your name, your address, your car and colour choice please on the payment. Those without paypal or wanting to pay by other means pm me for details.

Basically, within the next 3 weeks (giving time for my holiday and people to get their money in) I'll post up and tell everyone that the order is placed, then we wait approx 2 weeks for them to arrive in the UK and me to get them out to you all!
