Did someone steal your clothes and then glue your hand to the car?

Hey Stacey,

Welcome!

Just a quick point - you say your Rev1 has 180BHP and your quoted 1/4 mile is 15.5 secs.

I doubt that my Rev 1, fitted with a K&N induction kit and a Mongoose exhaust gives out more than 160BHP (up 2 from standard) so it's a good 20BHP shy off your car.

A standard Rev1 does the 1/4 mile in 15.2 secs.

Just wondering how you came up with your figures!

This is my BHP report BEFORE I had done anything to the engine

And this is my Santa Pod slip on a cold day

I would deffinately like to see a rev one do 15.2 up the 1/4 mile. I raced another rev 1 MR2 same spec less miles and he got 16.2.

My car IS running 180bhp. I know im female but I can read my report slips :D

I go in this car on a regular basis and I can vouch for the performance. I think Mike JC will remember back to the MR2 run last year. Both me and Mike were struggling to get past this car on a hill. Admitedly I think we bth had a touch of heat soak, but still, this car will surprise a lot of people. And I bet it goes sideways alot better than most of you lot too!!

I know of two gen1 n/as that have both pulled high 14s, only basic filter and exhaust mods.

Just remember ET = driver , trapspeed = horsepower.
