Upgrades to events section.........

Post by Mike 'MR2' McHugh »

Is it possible to have the option of having a list that people can add their names to so it is clear to other people who's coming aswell as the usual to be able to discuss the forthcoming event ?? Also has there been any more thought about giving the events organisers their own colour yet ? If you organise events too, do you think this is a good idea or is it just me ?

Thankyou.....

whole heartedly agree with that mate. I believe that like you say, it would be nice to have a board of attendees as per the old IMOC.

I also reckon it would be a good idea to appoint some events organisers to look after this section of the forum and have coloured names (i.e red) to differentiate them from the rest.

This, in my opinion is the one part of IMOC which could do with some organistation to it.

Cheers,

Guys,

The plan is definitely to get some official organisers on board, certainly can give you a particular colour.

At the moment we've got a whole stack of mods we're working on - I'd like to see some of those come through live so you can enjoy them before we start on a Calendar / Event mod (and yes there still is one on the cards - don't worry, we haven't 'forgotten' about this)

Esmond is working on a couple of major mods to the board, and I've just spent this evening configuring up and starting to test the mail to forum stuff here on the live site and doing other board admin stuff (backups, installs of one new mod I'll announce later if it works OK)

:)
