Dan,

Can you amend the topic title to say Essex Halfway house meet. Might get a few more hits that way

I know that Chris Ammon will also be coming along :D We really need to turn this meet into something a little bigger this year. Maybe we should have the occassional run to the coast when the weather permits?

That's a jolly good idea... HalfwayHouse is just that - a "halfway house" - it's not the most inspiring of places - I mean if we could meet up there for an hour every first Sunday - have a drink and a chat then use it as a starting base for a cruise to a nice "guest/feature pub" for that month - in the countryside or on the coast - (basically better surroundings - not on the hard shoulder of the damn A127 !)

i think that would attract a lot more people :thumleft:

Here's an example...
lets say the July meet - organised to meet at Halfway House at 2pm. at 3pm the cruise/convoy starts . Feature pub for that meet could be the "George and Dragon" in Ingatestone. (beefeater)

what do people think of that idea ? 8-[

That's exactly the kind of thing I was thinking about Franky. We'll have a chat at the meet on Sunday if your car is ready

Well you can never have too many "meets" and having a monthly "guest pub" to head off to would be a great idea i personally think - I'm chuffed i thought of it actually \:D/

ideas - you line them up son - I'll see them home :thumright:
Yep see you on Sunday and "discuss"

Oooo - what time are people arriving on Sunday ?
