MR2 Suspension? Are they all the same?
I was wondering if the MR2 suspension between rev1 and rev4 is the same, and if so can i fit rev 3 suspension to my rev1 NA?
Re: MR2 Suspension? Are they all the same?
i think N/A and turbo suspension differs other than that i think you can pretty much just do a straight swap. hope someone can confirm that though
Re: MR2 Suspension? Are they all the same?
The change from type I & II to the Type III (oct 1993 upwards) saw some changes in the turbo mr2 suspension.
The strut housings and mounts are the same for all years. The springs and the actual shocks vary from na/turbo and year to year.
The suspension changes in 93 do not affect the actual strut mounting points. Just a shorter spring, slightly different geometry in the rear (different rear crossmember and links to it) and a different method of connecting the strut rods in the front.
I did have a more detailed list SOMEWHERE but Im bu88ered if I can find it!!
Cheers
