Hi guys,
There is a japnorthwest meet on 11th April at the Mascrat Manor Pub near Warrington.
Things kick off around 7.30 ish onwards. Its a general jap car meet but it would be good to get a few IMOC'ers down there this month! Mebby we can hog a corner of the place and fill it with mr2's
I'll be there in the red n/a. Get there early if u want a decent spot.
( directions @ http://www.pradbone.f2s.com/japuk/events.html )
See you there....

Re: Northwest Meet - mon 11th April
whats' the max muppetry quotient like? I only mention this as Mark went a couple of years ago when it was maccjap and he wasn't too impressed with the kind of cars there.
Re: Northwest Meet - mon 11th April
I went last month, it wasnt a "cruise as such" (no boy racer antics and not really any 'tuned up' civics etc... ) there are lot of well tuned cars supras skylines gti-r's etc there. I had a chat with some people, and the 200sx club was there also, tho the 2 guys I spoke to from there were complete priks. I met a nice chap with a white tubby there. In general its a good crowd with a wide mix of different people.
As i said not much tends to happen in the northwest, so it would be good to see some of the faces behind the names and have a chin wag, and a bottle of caliber!

Hi,
We kick any boy racers out. Simple as that. If any one starts playing loud music or revving their engine to redline and bouncing off the limiter, one of us will have a word with them.
I'm not going to be there tonight, I've got to much on. Need to get my gearbox on so I can get the engine back in the car tomorrow. I'll be there next month in the mr2 though
Cheers,
Paul

Got about 20 snaps including many of the 2's around
Also helped push that guy who had crashed. I still don't see how he did it unless he was at 60+ on the final approach to the 'bout.

Enjoyed it tonight, was good to meet up with more guys from here. Just checking out the pics now.
I think I'll definately be there next week, I was really impressed with the size of it and some of the cars there.
Shame about the RX7 though, looked like a nasty one.
