My first time on this track (and my first proper trackday). The weather was quite bad, showers around noon so the track was never 100% dry. Nevertheless, I had some great fun, although I'm even more disappointed now for not having an LSD
Oh and yes, I really should be heel-toeing, but I just can't seem to get it working in the MR2

And then the fun really started

French tracks
I live in Northern France and we have a great track near to us. It is Croix en Ternoise and it is located at St Pol Sur Ternoise, about an hour and a half from the tunnel. It is a very, very good track with long straight and a very technical section. The track owner is a total fanatic and owns an ex-F1 Benneton.
Cost per day varies, but is very economical and they have a great bar/restaurant and are very friendly.
The cirucit is busy most weekends for racing and also for track days during the week and occasional weekends. They run very good race weekends with F3 and international grade racing. Entry is 8-15 euros for the weekend, depending on the status of the racing and kids under 15 are free. This includes paddock entry!!!!! Parking is also free.
