or
http://www.ksport.co.uk/order.asp?id=254&loc=1

Please refer to Bren @ Apex Performance for any technical spec, or question, their details are at the bottom of this post....

The discount is offered on the basis that 5 or more complete kits are ordered

Prices are as follows:

Inverted type kits
Usual RRP = £895.30
Group Buy Price = £716.24 inc VAT (20% discount)

Both sets include adjustable top mounts.

I have just emailed Apex performance to confirm if there will be delivery costs etc, as soon as i know ill post up the details.

I know you put contact apex for more info, but its late, they're closed and I want more info!!

do you know what the benefits of the inverted type are? I see you've said you want the 'road' biased kit, what's different, the spring rates, or something else?

Hi,
The chap at apex is away till monday unfortunately, but here's the link you need, it looks like its for seperating oil and gas in the cylinder tho:

http://www.ksport.co.uk/products.asp?f=coilovers

The regular coilovers come in either fast road or fast road/track
and the damping is adjustable on both but matched to the spring rates or something like that, the road set up is apparently a little more forgiving. :D

Those are fairly high spring rates. Tein HA's are 4 & 8 kg/mm, so those at 4.5 and 7.2 while better balanced for sure are still going to be quite stiff.

Try and get Bren to answer questions here. I'm interested to know the valving and spring rates on their 'track' version as my HA's are too soft for my application now and i'm in the market for something new.

I'm very tempted by the GT PRO kit, price seems good for what 'looks' like some decent suspension tech and at a price comparable to shocks/springs/topmounts.

Thing that troubles me is that no one in the mr2 community, and few outside that has any experience of them.

Does anyone know if the GT PRO kit has the same method of attaching the droplink as the standard Kontrol coilover? Its a threaded collar on the shock body, rather than welded on- looks like it could come loose and spin causing the droplink to contact the shock body <- just speculation.

Very interested tho Matt!

Also interested, since very good price for coilovers - but wonder if we can specify softer spring rates ?

Drop link attachement / issue as mentioned by Roadwarrier - a good point, also what is the max drop available on these coilovers?

I'm also in the market for some coilovers... I want to know wether these would be better than some Tein Superstreets for road use... ?

Any ideas... at that price do they include drop links..

I guess thats not with top mounts.. do they fit on the standard ones ?

spoke To Apex today regarding the spring rates, and do you want the good news or the good news ?

Within reason you can specify what spring rate you want ( the actual rate needs to be verified with Ksport before ordering, which is fair enough ) and this is done for the same price !

custom spring rates. adjustable damping and the best coilover price around !

count me in for sure :D

Hey Drew, good point about the drop, will call Apex tonight and check on max drop and also how the drop links are attached.

I've ordered loads of stuff through Apex before, for the 200sx and their service is 2nd to none - hence not going through the other route.

will post result when called,

cheers
Nick.

shine ....

Spoke to Apex and basically you can go as low as the car allows !

The chap couldnt say 100%, but was sure the droplink attachment was on a threaded collar to allow adjustment. With my limitated suspension knowledge doesnt this need to be the way anyway to allow adjustement ensuring there is always an angle on the links compared to the horizontal ?
