Just heard there's gonna be GT5 TV, where via the game or something you can watch various car related stuff (like footage of the big car shows in Japan and Las Vegas). Also they've done a deal with the bbc so you can get to watch Top Gear via it.

Yep, already seen some of this stuff in the prologue demo i've got.
Its a lot like watching the drift stuff you get on youtube.

Except rather than streaming video, you have to wait 3 hours for it to download
(at least on my combination of wireless & internet speed )

Its the same for me, which is crap really. I have an uber fast connection but its seems drop whenever i download anything to do with the Playstation. Reckon they throttle it back.

the same happens on live when big releases come out. i think its jus the sheer volume of people downloading the file. i cant really think of another service where jus about every user will connect on the day of the downloads release to grab the file.
not with as many users anyway.

Yeah just had a go too. Its pretty damn good. I dont really like GT since the PS1 days and i did enjoy this. Looks superb but also is surprising fun to play.
