Power steering interference?

Post by Rikki »

Just got an amp fitted but it seems to be getting a lot of interference from the power steering unit (high pitched buzz, acenuated when turning the steering wheel to full lock).

Anyone else come across this and have a cure?

Hi Rikki,

Check that you have'nt got power cables running near your speaker cable. Try to keep the speaker cables as far away from power as you can. You can also get a power filter from Halfords which MIGHT help.
