Where is my amp?

Post by skytek »

Hi chaps!

I finally got my sony stereo powering up in my new 1992 rev2 n/a but I get no sound :?

The car has the active system but I don't know where the amp is located in the car. Anyone know where this is? I want to check it's still working. I know where the subs are - behind the seats but the amp eludes me.

Thanks for the help.

behind the trim panels near the seat belt retractor.

To be honest, you are often better off bypassing the Toyota amps and running the speakers direct from the Headunit... many people suffer interference noise problems when using an aftermarket head unit.
