I have just fitted my new headunit and i am going to fit my new sub/amp/and speakers tomoz. Where is the best place to run the power lead to the battery???

Hi Dan.

For a good quality install you will want to keep power and signal cables away from each other. For power, I ran the cable down/underneath the centre console (easily comes off - remove the four screws and the CD/tape box wotsit), thru to the driver's footwell, via a grommet that was itching to be used, and hey presto -- you're in the battery zone.

You can run the signal cables up the centre console too, but make sure they're on the other side. I removed the passenger side door sill, lifted the carpet, and run them up the side of the car.

Pick a good earthing point too.
