Dash Bulbs

Post by Goldy »

2 of my dash bulbs are gone so i'm goin to replace them with something, however, I was browsing the web and decided that blue LED's would be cool. Just wondering if these would fit straight in on the mr2? Can someone let me know if they are the right size?

Easy way is to take out one of your existing bulbs, go to halfords etc and find an LED with the right fitting.

Mark and i did this years ago on our MK1 dash's and replaced the stock bulbs with blue leds. Looked quite cool in a way though have to say the stock green is easier on the eyes than the brighter blue LEDs'.

I may do the same for mine - I'm replacing bulbs at the moment (and disks and pads and and and and and). I've been told colours towards the middle of the spectrum (Greens and Yellows) are easier on the eyes than those towards the edge.
