Can anyone advise me if the following is possible?
I am looking to removin my stereo from my car. That area on the fascia will be taken up with gauges.
I ideally want no visable stereo in the car; but I still want sounds.
I was thinking of having a small amp mounted in one of the boxes behind the rear seats. These would be hooked up to the speakers.
The music would be supplied through an MP3 player like an Ipod through a lead to the amp.
Can anyone see any problems with this compatability wise? Will I have sound control issues. I am not to clued up on the whole ICE front.
Cheers
James

that would work fine (I do the same in my garage, I link my iPod to my stereo amp) You just need to buy a 3.5mm jack plug to 2xRCA cable (Maplin sell em)
Only problem is changing track and stuff I guess.

Sweet, thanks for the advice Steve. Going for a total stealth install
I am going to make a small cradle for the Ipod so I can change tracks on the fly so to speak.
Regards
James
