I bought a set a while ago, and when the garage tried fitting them they found they didn't appear to be the right ones. They also happened to have some parts lying around from a rev1, and they seems to fit fine into those, so I may have been sent the wrong kit...?

Hmmmm, did they come from me?? Not sent out an incorrect set yet.....

Anyway, the bush kits are identical except for front strut bar bushes.

Assuming you have a ProThane Bush Kit, and have Rev1 FSB bushes, and no Rev3 FSB bushes then i can help in two ways:

If your Rev1 FSB bushes are s/h looking and grubby, then i have FSB bushes at £5.80 a pair for a limited time (normally £24+).

If they are unused and new looking, i'll exchange them for Rev3 items.

I'll post an up to date summary of GB status later tonight.

OK here's how i see the current situation:

Shipped

medic steve
Yas
Quigley
JasonB
redeye32uk
a16vwn1
SB
benmumford
Jim
Jimbob
tony67
nis
DaveB

Paid but no ARB measurements - Not shipped

Monkeyra

Not paid

cjones2
Red_turbo
welly_59
KrisB
RyanRs
The Wraith
rookie-racer

Those who have not paid - this may sound harsh, but i have not got time to go debt collecting. If not paid by end of year, GB price is forfeited.

To save PMs and phone calls, a couple of notes:

The large penny washers fit against the forwardmost face of each control arm bush.

Those who have bought Rev1 bush kits with 19mm front ARB bushes will need OEM Rev3 ARB bush mounting brackets. They are on back order until next Friday and will be sent to those who require them. Unfortunately for me i forgot to mention this at the beginning of the GB, so they will be provided at no extra cost to GB purchasers. (£15 per pair - Ouch)

Many thanks to those of you who paid promptly. And to Jon Benson for doing the organising.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I did buy them from the two'r'us website, which I believe is through you? It was a few months ago now - I was going to get them changes as part of my V6 conversion, but was informed of this problem.

They haven't been fitted to the car at all. Look nice and clean. Unfortunately not too up on which bush goes where (which is why I was getting the garage to do it) - what does the FSB bush look like, and how do I tell if its a rev1 or rev 3 item?

Probably best to take to PM rather than clog up this pm forum...?

Peter -

I haven't paid for ARB bushes.... hence I haven't provided any measurements!

(Rev 1 kit with front and rear ball joints is what I paid for)

Where does that leave me?

Poor and bushless

Your kit will be despatched by Interlink after Christmas Bank Holidays. (I think they will collect on Wednesday). Thanks.

Recieved kit yesterday thanks peter and jon. Gotta get these bad-boys installed now. Lack of funds and a willingness to try anything once means im gonna give it a go myself as soon as i get somewhere to do it or some warmer weather. So any hints or tips anyone has on the subject will be very welcome. Cheers.

Hmm... well, I paid on the 29th and have sent 2 PMs to Peter. I've not had one reply and I've yet to receive my parts. :?

Is Peter on holiday or something? Anyone?
