Bolted to the front of the chassis is a crash bar. It lives behind the bumper and can be removed completely. I wouldnt reccomend removing it but then who would. Ive removed mine from my car as well as the rear. But then im in stage 3 weight reduction aiming for under 1000kilos so ide lose the windscreen if i could.
The choice is down to the individule on this one.

Sorry to dredge this post up but it must have been crawled by a few search engines..
I've been getting a few PM's about the Erebuni bumper and when I'm getting them.. Sorry to say the MR2 was sold over a year ago and the bumpers worked out a bit to steep even when shipped by the crate load!
