I'd be game for one, without vents.

Not at the moment. I've not spoken to the guy for ages so sorry but this is going on the very back burner for a while. At least till I've got more time.

Sorry peeps.

I talked to Styling FX a few weeks back and they said they were developing a Border vented bonnet in CF. Hadn't finished it but said they expect them to come in around the £350 mark.

With some discount from a GB, it'd be a good price ?

Anyway, guy is away for a few days, so I might call them again Thursday.

Styling FX are just working on this on the side where and when they can - so, as they're busy, not sure how much longer.

Are people looking for the c/f look, or a lighter bonnet ?

Replikit have fibreglass vented bonnets from 240+VAT Quality seems to be good :

not really.. wanted carbon fibre for look and weight and no spraying required..

replikit didnt do them (sold a load) and now they dont do them anymore unless i want a damaged one (why would i want a damaged one)

Carbon all the way..

Have just bought some fibreglass vented wings from them but would have rather got some carbon fibre ones made up instead.

Maybe ring Styling FX and ask about the c/f vented bonnets - might hurry them a bit if they reckon there's a decent bit of interest ?

spoke to them and they said there still trying to work a few things out regarding this bonnet, laternatively they'll import them if they cannot get the weave correct.

Either way we should know within the next 2 weeks they said.
