Where to get bits?

Post by Goldy »

I just pulled my aerial assembly apart as it wasnt working. Put the fault down to a faulty relay box, been down to toyota to replace it and they quoted me £67 quid including VAT.

I've looked at it and theres about £3 worth of components on that board if that! /me thinks they might be taking the p1$$ a little bit with that.

Does anyone know any decent cheap places to get working parts... new or used on the web or via phone? I need a new washer bottle pump as well!!

Hi there

Try your local scrap yard, many now already remove these parts to save you climbing over cars, take your MR2 part to compare with another unit from another model of toyota if no MR2 bits available.
I visit my local scrappy every other weekend to ferrit around for usefull bits, bulbs, switches, light units door switches, aerials etc paying only penniess for these bits.
